The Role
Pala is recruiting one or more MBA students for an internship over a ten-week item between May and September 2012 (although internships will also be considered at other times of the year). The role will software documentation Palas investment advisory activities and will specifically make the following:

Identification and evaluation of investment opportunities;
Valuation and fiscal analysis;
Financial manakin;
Corporate transactions in both public and private markets;
Support in delinquent diligence processes;
Investment management, including providing support to investee companies;
Strategic initiatives; and
Equity and sector look for.





The Individual
The successful housedidate will have the following:

bang in investment banking, private equity, consulting, fund management, equity research or business development;
Significant experience in and knowledge of the mining sector;
sensitive valuation, financial modelling and analytical skills;
A proven ability to think strategically;
A thorough understanding of research techniques;
Outstanding social skills;
The ability to clearly and coherently document and present results; and
Excellent business English.

Preference may be given to candidates who can offer the following:

Experience in mergers and acquisitions;
Experience of in operation(p) in multiple geographies; and
