ABSTRACT
leave you ever heard a song and it brought you back to a memory? When associations, such as this song and memory, form in ones mind this is k straightn as classic conditioning. Classical conditioning exists in all places. However, the man who is intimately famous for classic conditioning is Ivan Pavlov. Pavlov grew up in a poor, religious family in Ryazan Russia. In his careerlong journey of studies Pavlov conducted a famous experiment involving a dog and a bell. Pavlov would fare the dogs and ring a bell every clock this feeding occurred. The unconditioned stimulus of food produced an unconditioned response of salivation. The apathetic stimulus (bell) produced a response, but not salivation. Now, after conditioning, the objective stimulus (bell) became a conditioned response (salivation). The bell itself was now associated with food. Now it is time to see if these classical conditioning principles exertion in a real life scenario of excludeing overeating. Here, a breach will be associated with overeating in an attempt to avoid bad eating habits. Thus, by defining Pavlovs tend in theory and exploring these tactics in practice, a relegate understanding of classical conditioning emerges.
