This storys theme is making love. This story has so much twists and turns all because of Catherine and Heathcliffs love. Their love was so deep that it bred hatred in Heathcliff. This caused their love to be passed down to the next generation. By construe this story, I butt get a new perspective of love. In joint love stories, the story line is about the beauty of love. However, in Wuthering Heights, it is about the destruction that love itself notify bring about. In this story, love has brought more harm than good. Yet, it still enabled people to see to it the power of love. I have got to know that love can push you to do many things.
When I first started reading this story, I was very touched by Heathcliffs love for Catherine. He would rather suffer as a servant in order to be with Catherine. As Catherine later married another, Heathcliff was despondent and left. He came back after three years so that he would worthy of Catherine. This shows that he still loved Catherine although she betrayed him. Although he plotted revenge against Hindley and Isabella, all this was because of his deep love for Catherine. He revenged against Hindley as he was the one who treated Heathcliff as a servant, preventing Catherine from marrying him.
He hated Edgar Linton as he married Catherine and bust up the two of them. This was why he eloped with Isabella and ill-treated her.
Although many would dislike Heathcliff as he had caused so much affect and turmoil in Wuthering Heights, I beg to differ. Personally, I retrieve that Heathcliff is person who is hard to find in this world. It is very thorny to find a man with such deep feelings for someone that can last so long. I...
