The 1950s and the 1960s were eras of unsettling discord between the menacing and white races. The realm of discrimination and disorder became ubiquitous in the Southern states, and the black community began to realize their lack of natural rights. A few bold souls decided to take a stand, no matter what the consequences. With the emergence of the Black Power execution that lasted approximately from 1966 to 1975, the issue was non just towards civil rights; it overly targeted the fundamental issues of freedom, respect, dignity, and economic and social equality. One of the more giving civil rights activists of that time was Malcolm Little (X). Throughout his life, Malcolm X was treated horribly by white people, hence shaping his misconceptions of all told whites and developing his strong belief in black separatism.
