The strife and Struggle of a Reservation Indian
American Indians souls ring by dint of the vast and empty reservations created by the superior European race, attempt to keep their identity and culture that continues to slip through their fingers that created their folk in America. Resources and reservations are given to the culture that was conquered, and American Indians are given limited supplies and attention. Wells, author of Native American revitalisation and Renewal, describes, It is recognized in law that such rights exist, and that the United responsibilitys government has an obligation to ensure the basis for survival (including land and water) of the natal people that the government has subsumed (Wells 1). However, The first direct federal appropriation for wellness care of American Indians was made in the derive of $12,000 in 1832 to provide for physicians and vaccine supplies. This reflects more self-interest than altruistic concern for the health of Indians (Hetrick 72). With these alarmingly low numbers, bantam study is known by students ages 18-24.



Fifty students at Arizona State University were surveyed, and only thirty five percent of students surveyed were unaware of the problems and little resources modern day reservations face. This alarming fact can be eliminated through the education of Native American culture and career of the reservation. W.E.B of Du Bois once said, To be a poor man is hard, entirely to be a poor race in a land of dollars is the very bottom of hardships (Rogers). Battles over natural resources, health care, and education remain a topic of debate for decades and for decades to come.
The effect to which Native Americans hold rights to land and other valuable resources has been a source of political, theological, and legal debate since European contract.
