Movie Review

Beastly is a delineation about Seventeen-year-old Kyle who is the spoiled, shallow and fantastically popular prince of his high school kingdom. Kyle foolishly chooses Kendra, a beldame masquerading as a high school student, as his latest target for humiliation. In order to teach Kyle a lesson, Kendra transforms him into somebody as unattractive on the outside as he is on the inside. Now he has one year to attain someone to love him, or he will cover Beastly forever. A quiet classmate he never noticed named Lindy may be his best get hold to prove that love is never ugly (Amazon). This movie ties instantaneously into many topics in the book, the most obvious one being Social Stratification. It also ties in to Dramaturgical Analysis: The origination of Self, Deviance and Inequality, Crime, Transitions and Problems in Family Life, and Schooling and Social Inequality.
The kickoff movie review done by movie critic, Eric D. Snider touches on many of the fond aspects of the movie. It centers on the wealthiness, crime, family problems, and Inequality that take built in bed as the plot unfolds. Snider pointed out the problems but did not impact them to sociology directly.

The second movie review done by Linda Holms critic for NPR, covered most of the same material in her review of Beastly, as Snider did. She heretofore intelligibly pointed out that Kyle was well aware of his looks and status and clearly used it to his advantage, which ultimately lead to his downfall.
