I let her discuss her situation for hours and through that crop of letting the emotions come out , she was commensurate to get back her self-regard and managed the courage to get out of the potentially dangerous human relationship . While I never interjected my own personal biases in the conversation , I delivered feedback in the form of asking her questions that I thought she should be asking herself . For example , after she told me all the things that her boyfriend calls her to insult her , I simply asked her how she felt intimately it , and then I asked her if she thought such feelings were justified . She finally came to the conclusion that what her boyfriend is doing to her was wrong and that she did not deserve to be treated that way . Later on , she thanked me for being at that place to listen because she claimed that she would never have been competent to figure it out for herself if she did not have someone like me to talk to This shade of mine extends greatly to children and is strengthened by my deep patience when it comes to dealing with the little ones .

When I was younger , I used to take sitting jobs at our local neighborhood and was always called upon to baby-sit toddlers who were known troublemakers by my friends who also did the same relegate My friends were amazed at how much patience I had in dealing with the children that they just could not stand . One finical child , had a habit of throwing hard objects at his sitters whenever he did not get what he inadequacyed . Although he was able to do the same thing to me instead of getting insane at him immediately , I decided to use a less confrontational approach and show him that I was there to inspection and repair him out and not punish him further . subsequently that initial encounter , he began to warm up to me and was no longer hostile in our succeeding meetings .
