When
we talk about skill, we mean the ability of someone to do something.
The ability or the skill that we are interested in is the skill to be
able to be a good writer. The skill of being a good writer is one
that a person is born with but one that should be learnt and
cultivated.
Writing is a skill that many people seem not to care for
and that is unnecessary to them. Such athought is wrong because to be
a good writer requires these skills and everyone should have them.
Everyone should endeavor to be good writers, and to be a good writer
one has to have done a lot of practice to gain the experience. Those
who have mastered this skill of writing are those who have dedicated
their time and attention in trying to learn. Learning which requires
one to be mentally prepared to work and one should not be lazy.
Laziness is the biggest factor that affects people and prevents them
from being able to be good writers. They are not willing to spend
their time writing and perfecting the art of writing, and yet these
same people who are unable to write good academic papers.
Academic
papers have repeatedly relied upon this skill of writing. A good
writer is one who is patient and takes his time to learn and
understand what the topic is before the actual writing. Most students
seem to find that taking time to understand the topic is a waste of
time. Understanding the topic is the foundation to a writing good
