A paridigm is a whole ,complete system of thinking and it is the base orientation of theory and research. A set of assumptions, concepts, set, and practices that constitutes a bureau of viewing reality for the community that shares them. The two distinct ikons Ill be looking at and comparing are the plusic social wisdom paradigm and the interpretive social science paradigm.
A positivist paradigm takes a more intention view of reality rather than the interpretive paradigm that focuses on a more subjective outlook. Researchers that use the positivist paradigm use quantitative measures to gather and analyse data(experiments, surveys, and numbers/ statistics) as they believe that data gathered this way is less promising to be subjective but rather objective. This is more turn out on their thinking of the nature of humane beings, where they view them as rational thinkers( mechanical model of man) which states that just by notice peoples external behaviour patterns one shtup gather sufficient evidence and explanations to the way they act and think.
The positivist paradigm is more focused on discovering causal laws of human behaviour which means that it is a continous cycle of knowledge as reality is empiric every last(predicate)y evident ( it can be strictly tested thus behaviour predicted), time in this character is linear. electropositive paradigm is based on general laws or logical reasoning that continues or grows through deductive reasoning, all possible variables are considered and tested eliminating ones that less suit or condone the researched phenomenon until the researcher is left with the one that best suits and explain the phenomenon. Because of its nature the positivist paradigm uses other researchers data that has been through empirical observation tested and proven to be reliable and valid, something reffered to as replication. Positivist paradigm is based on facts, and precise observations without any values noted.
In the interpretive paradigm researchers...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
