Ethics In Todays Society
A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both (Eisenhower, 1953, p.1). The author will explain the differences among ethical and deterrent example issues, and contrast personal and business ethics, providing real-world examples of super acid ethical problems in business. The author begins this exploration of ethical and clean issues by defining ethics and explaining the differences between ethical and moral issues.
Ethics is a system of moral principles or rules of bring recognized in respect to a particular family line of human actions or particular group, culture, etc. (DeGeorge, 2010). The next issue the author will explain is differences between ethical and moral issues. An ethical issue is a problem or stance that requires a person or organization to choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as right or wrongfulness (DeGeorge, 2010). A moral issue is one that has the potential to servicing or harm anyone. For example, an ethical issue that comes to mind is the Bernard Madoff ponzi scheme, which took capital from new investors to pay dividends to old investors. This scheme works as long as there is a constant bleed of new investors.



Madoffs fraud cost customers over 64 billion dollars that included the rich and famous to small investors who entrusted their life savings to him. Madoffs scheme was definitely a flake of right and wrong. The moral issue that comes to mind is KFCs entry into India. look at this from the moral perspective would be the harm KFC would do to Indias farming community. This move could deplete the clownishs livestock, which would adversely affect its agriculture and environment. A move to the country could also cause the farmers to shift from basic crops to more moneymaking(a) varieties like animal feed and meat, leaving the poorer sections of society with no affordable food.
