It is true that all of the production for this food is based on two very diverse cultivation techniques; Industrial and sustainable kitchen-gardening. Industrial farming involves the use of illimitable chemics to enhance many factors in the farming process, such as pesticides and chemical fertilizer, and is based on thousands of acres of land, so it produces gigantic amounts of food daily. Sustainable farming is a practice in which ecologically based production systems ar used for farming, which commonly does not include the use of any chemicals or supernatural fertilizer, and produces organic foods. Family farms are typically the ones who own sustainable farms, and are miniscule when compared to industrialized farming. Each one of these farming techniques has its ups and downs, and in that respect are many different views on which one is preferred.

However, change farming in Florida has more negative impacts on humans, animals, and the surround around us because of the harmful chemicals such as pesticides and chemical fertilizers which can result in eutrophication and red tide in bodies of water, diseases such as obesity and cancer, economic problems which lead to sustainable family farms going out of business, and soil nutrient depletion on our farmland. Industrialized farming is fancied by many farmers in Florida because of the benefits of using chemicals, which can enhance speed, and even mass production of sics.
