Managing Your Own Business

They have a hardheaded attitude towards money, simply they are not greedy. These types of achievers are committed to excellence and finishing tasks. They choose projects with moderate risks and are complete at seizing opportunities which show potential for achievement.

It seemed part of my duty to prepare myself with this information ahead group meeting with the S.C.O.R.E. volunteer in order to answer basic questions for myself close whether I am suited to own and run a downhearted telephone circuit by myself. The day of the meeting which took place at a local fast nourishment restaurant my goal and objective was to learn as a good deal as I could from the gentlemen who was willing to spend his own meter in order to help me. My basic techniques during the meeting were to be an attentive listener, answer his questions, and retain an open mind about the subjects we discussed. I felt a little nervous talk of the town with this experienced, successful person whom I did not k straight until that day, but this information was important enough for me that I proceeded anyway.

I was greatly involved in this meeting, although sometimes in a static way. I had initiated it, and the purpose was to answer my questions and concerns about going into championship for myself. The meeting lasted about an hour and a half, and both the S.C.O.R.E.


It became clear to me as I perspective about the conversations with the S.C.O.R.E. volunteer that there are specific concepts and generalizations that establish to small business management. Although I have been around small businesses all my life, I have not troubled myself with train concepts concerning the management of a small concern. I see now that specific things have to be thought about before opening a business.

This well-informed gentleman go along to tell me about marketing plans, business loans, pricing considerations, marketing strategies, and customer and employee relations.
